The engagement

Creative Images by Eric is the practice of a Chicago cinematic portrait photographer with six years behind the camera. Euphemios transformed a source-backed Instagram archive into a motion-led portfolio that foregrounds Eric’s photography, original captions, services, collaborators, studios, and locations.

01

The challenge

Eric’s work already carried a distinctive cinematic point of view, but it lived inside a social feed rather than a portfolio built for deeper exploration. The new experience had to organize 73 accessible posts and 332 mapped images without losing their exact captions or credits, fit an ambitious dark motion brief to Eric’s real visual language, and keep a media-rich archive usable across mobile, keyboard, touch, reduced-motion, and slower-connection contexts.

02

The approach

We normalized the captured media, post descriptions, source links, people, and places into a typed catalog with provenance intact, publishing only caption-confirmed active model profiles and source-supported locations. Eric’s photography and the supplied looping film became the visual system; restrained blue-violet atmosphere supports the work. The requested loading, video hero, bento stories, editorial passages, parallax worlds, statistics, and video footer were then carried into a static-first site with focused client-side motion and progressive archive exploration.

The result

  1. 01

Eric now has a standalone portfolio that presents his six years of practice as an intentional body of cinematic portrait work rather than a sequence of isolated social posts.

  2. 02

Visitors can move from a curated first impression into every captured post, image, original description, and source link without losing the context behind the work.

  3. 03

Caption-confirmed collaborators and source-supported studios, venues, and locations are organized into direct, verifiable paths back to their Instagram records.

  4. 04

The complete experience passed local build, lint, eleven automated tests, desktop and 360/390px mobile QA, archive filtering, keyboard lightbox, reduced-motion, and horizontal-overflow checks before release.
