The engagement

Theorem is a supplement start-up building 2 oz daily wellness shots as an alternative to stacks of pills and powders, founded by Grayson Lutin and Matthew Gold and named a 2026 NutraIngredients-USA Start-Up Star. Euphemios converted an approved design export into a deterministic static site and replaced every placeholder in it with verified brand content. This is a self-directed prospect build, produced from public material ahead of a conversation with the founders.

01

The challenge

The export was a finished-looking design carrying unfinished content: eight empty image slots, four invented study citations, provisional formula names, an unverified ingredient count, and placeholder legal copy. Anything shipped as fact had to be traceable to a real source, and the approved design had to survive the substitution unchanged.

02

The approach

We built the site from the export at build time, so the design file stays the single source of truth and every content change is a declared, reviewable patch. Imagery came from the brand's public Instagram presence, cropped to remove campaign copy; the reading-room citations were replaced with the four papers Theorem itself cites, each verified field by field against its PubMed record. Two defects only visible in a rendered browser were caught and fixed: the hero video shipped blocked by autoplay policy, and section links wrote raw fragments into the address bar.

Scope of work

  • Editorial launch site for a pre-launch supplement brand, built from an approved design export
  • Deterministic build-time unpacking so the export remains the source of truth
  • Real brand imagery and founder photography sourced from public Instagram
  • Peer-reviewed citations verified against PubMed before publication
  • Executable content and render gates, CI, responsive overlay, and Vercel deployment

04

What we delivered

  • Production single-page site spanning hero, daily shot, science, formula matrix, index, ritual, founders, gallery, and signup
  • Eight image slots filled with real brand and founder photography, campaign copy cropped out
  • Four reading-room citations replaced with PubMed-verified papers, each checked title-to-PMID
  • Corrected co-founder surname and LinkedIn links for both founders
  • A scroll-told press page for the NutraIngredients Q&A, with the 2 oz lineup as a drifting hero, parallax figures and a reduced-motion fallback
  • Autoplay guard and clean-URL interceptor fixing two defects carried by the export
  • check.sh gate run verbatim by CI: content post-conditions plus a real-browser render pass

05

The result

  1. 01

Every placeholder the export shipped with is gone, and no claim on the page is unsourced.

  2. 02

The hero video plays on a fresh visit: the export declared muted as an attribute, which the runtime drops on re-render, so browsers had been blocking it as unmuted autoplay.

  3. 03

Section navigation no longer writes fragments into the address bar, on click or on arrival.

  4. 04

The published ingredient figure is derived from the page's own formula matrix and re-checked by the gate, so it cannot silently drift.

  5. 05

The opening loader was rebuilt from values measured off the brand’s live site, so the demo opens the way their real site does.

  6. 06

The site shipped on August 4, 2026 with HTTPS on a dedicated subdomain and a CI gate behind every deployment.
